Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance Request For Proposals
The Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA) is pleased to announce the release of a RFP for city, county, and regional governments to propose the creation of a community program to oversee the implementation of comprehensive energy efficiency measures in all end-use sectors.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to select a City, County, or regional governmental organization to design and implement a community energy alliance. The goal is to realize deep market penetration and comprehensive utility savings through a program design that can be widely replicated. Given the inclusion in the current stimulus package before Congress an energy development block grant program promising several billion dollars directly to cities and counties, this opportunity represents an organizational vehicle and program plan to efficiently, quickly and fairly allocate those funds, and do so with a leveraging potential not otherwise likely.
